- CUTTING AND PROGRAMMING REQUIRED — The included keys are uncut and unprogrammed. Both keys must be cut to match the supplied cylinders and programmed to the vehicle’s immobilizer system before they can start the engine. Programming requires a qualified automotive locksmith or properly equipped repair facility.
- CHECK BEFORE PURCHASING — Match the shape of the original ignition housing, electrical connector, mounting points, door lock cylinder configuration and key-chip type with the listing photos. Vehicle year alone does not guarantee compatibility. Do not order if the original structure or connector is different.
- IMPORTANT EXCLUSIONS — Not compatible with 2003-2005 Honda Civic parts, push-button-start vehicles, smart-key systems or vehicles that do not use an ID48 transponder key. Professional installation is recommended because removal of the steering lock assembly may require specialized tools.
